Pollok FC are pleased to announce the signing of forward Alex Cassells from Petershill!

Alex joins having scored goals for Peasy last season and three years after a brief spell at Newlandsfield early in Stewart Maxwell’s reign which saw him make two appearances. During that time, he spent a spell on loan at Shotts Bon Accord, and latterly Petershill, whom he eventually joined permanently.

The 28-year-old is a product of the youth systems of both Falkirk and Hearts, and had a spell on the books of Partick Thistle as a teen but has spent the last eleven years in and around the West of Scotland set-up, with his former clubs including Rossvale and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, where he previously played under Stewart Maxwell.
