Pollok FC are pleased to confirm that the supporter who took unwell at yesterday’s match against Cumnock Juniors at Townhead Park is well and did not require hospital treatment.

The supporter has followed the club for fifty years, and confirmed in a phone conversation with our club secretary today that other than pain in his side from falling, he is ok. All at the club wish him well and look forward to seeing him continue to follow the Lok home and away.

We would like to place on record our thanks to our physio Ross Anderson, Cumnock’s physio Lynn, the assistant referee and everyone involved from both sides in supporting the gentlemen in question. It is greatly appreciated by the club and his family.

Following yesterday’s incident, the match was abandoned and we will update supporters in the coming days once we have more information.
