Welcome Grant Anderson!

Pollok are delighted to announce the signing of winger Grant Anderson from St Cadocs.

The experienced 36 year old scored 25 goals last season for the Newton Mearns side as they finished runners-up to Gartcairn in the First Division to secure their place in the top flight for the coming campaign.

Prior to this, Grant had a successful spell at Raith Rovers between 2012 and 2016 where he scored the winning goal against Hibs in the Scottish Cup in 2014 to put the Kirkcaldy side into the quarter finals. Later in the same season, he played the full 120 minutes as The Rovers stunned Rangers to lift the Scottish Challenge Cup after extra-time.

Either side of two spells in Fife, Grant also spent time with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, Stenhousemuir, Hamilton Academical, Queen of the South and Stranraer.

Grant joins Pollok for the start of the new season subject to SFA approval during the registration process.

Now that Grant has signed on for next season at Newlandsfield, why don’t you join him? Season tickets are available now!
