Jordan Signs on To Make it Ten!

Pollok are delighted to confirm that long-time goalkeeper Jordan Longmuir has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.

The new deal will take the stopper into his tenth year with the club, after being signed in 2014 from Colville Park following Pollok’s relegation to the Super First Division. He has since gone on to make 246 appearances, keeping 88 clean sheets and scoring one goal with a long-range screamer against Kirkintilloch Rob Roy in 2021.

Away from the score sheet, Jordan’s Pollok highlights include heroic displays in the run to the 2016 Junior Cup Final, which culminated in him saving two penalties in the semi-final shootout against Hurlford. More recently, he made a serious of fine stops in front of the BBC cameras at Somerset Park in a 1-0 defeat to Ayr in the Scottish Cup Third Round.

In his ten seasons at Newlandsfield, Jordan has lifted the West Super First Division, Evening Times Cup, West of Scotland Cup, and two Central League Cups. Here’s hoping there is more success to come next season!
