The Hatful o’ Eight: Murdie’s new arrival rundown

With eight new signings checking in over the summer break, who better to introduce them than Murdie MacKinnon. Here are the Gaffer’s thoughts on each of them:

Scott Rumsby
Scott is a player that I’ve admired for a long time. An outstanding defender who will add strength and consistency to the heart of our defence.

Fraser Mullen
Winning both the Player and the Players Player of the year awards at Cowdenbeath last season, Fraser brings great experience and quality to the group having previously played in the Premier League with Hearts.

Ryan Sinnamon
Another player with a fantastic pedigree having been brought up in the Rangers academy before moving onto Annan Athletic for two spells. An excellent footballer whose versatility will give further strength to the squad.

Sean Burns
Sean is a vastly experienced left-sided defender who is highly regarded in the senior game. He will bring outstanding quality and further leadership to the team.

Darren Christie
We welcome Darren back to the club after a year away in the seniors where he had an excellent season. Darren has outstanding attacking quality and also contributes with goals and assists.

Ryan Watters
We welcome Ryan to the club after a spell playing down south (with Widnes and Longridge Town). He adds competition on the left side of the pitch. Ryan has terrific quality and an outstanding work ethic.

Robbie Buchanan
Robbie has a terrific pedigree in the game having played at Hearts before making 200+ appearances for Cowdenbeath. His outstanding work rate and ability to create at the top end of the pitch will make him a fantastic signing for the club.

Stephen Docherty
Stephen had an outstanding goalscoring record last season, scoring 34 times on the road to helping Petershill to the conference title. His blistering pace and outstanding work ethic bring real competition at the top end of the pitch.
