Twenty’s Plenty for Lok!
After months of discussion, weeks of speculation and days of uncertainty, the structure for the new West of Scotland Football League can be confirmed this evening. The initial plan for four conferences of 16/17 clubs was deemed to be unviable, so the outcome that has been arrived at sees the existing West Premiership (16) clubs joined by the top three from the Championship on average points per game, as well as existing Pyramid Tier 6 side Bonnyton Thistle. A 20 team league is therefore what Pollok find themselves in for when football resumes, though that does not automatically mean a 38 game programme. The exact details of promotion and relegation will be determined closer to the big kick off.
The West of Scotland League at tier 6 will therefore contain:
- Auchinleck Talbot
- Beith Juniors
- Benburb
- Blantyre Victoria
- Bonnyton Thistle
- Clydebank
- Cumbernauld United
- Cumnock Juniors
- Darvel
- Glenafton Athletic

- Irvine Meadow XI
- Kilbirnie Ladeside
- Kilwinning Rangers
- Kirkintilloch Rob Roy
- Largs Thistle
- Pollok

- Rutherglen Glencairn
- Troon
