Pollok FC are delighted to announce that teenage forward Mikey McWilliams has signed for the club on a permanent basis through to the end of the 2019-20 season. He joined the Pollok United set-up towards the end of last season from Vale of Clyde YFC and after signing on a ‘delayed transfer’ basis from the 21s, has been a regular in the matchday squad so far this season. Back in August, he made his debut against Largs Thistle, then started his first game in November’s draw with Petershill and scored his first goal down at Valefield against Kilbirnie in December.

Mikey will however now spend the next month on loan at promotion-chasing League 2 side Ashfield and everyone will wish him all the best with that move.
