Gormley signs on at the Lok

We are delighted to announce that Pollok Football Club have captured the signature of 29-year-old centre-forward David Gormley. Gormley joins the club from Clyde, having previously starred in the juniors for Glenafton, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Auchinleck Talbot. Tony McInally had the following to say;

?David is a fantastic acquisition for us at this stage of the season. He is a proven striker at junior and senior level having shown his prowess over many seasons. He will be a huge asset to us and he is a different type of striker to what we already have at the club?.

David started his career at Motherwell and has also played for Ayr Utd, Albion Rovers, Alloa and Elgin City. On joining Pollok, David said ?Having played a lot of my football in the Juniors, I know just how big a club Pollok are. Newlandsfield is a great place to play football and you always noticed as an opposition player how much the fans got behind the team.??I can?t wait to get started.?

David is available for next weekend’s rescheduled Scottish Cup tie against Rossvale.
