The club is pleased to introduce the final three players who have re-signed for next season.
KIERAN McALEENAN (Midfielder, 26) - 30 starts, 2 subs, 2 goals
Kieran made his Pollok debut in a 1-0 Euroscot Engineering Sectional League Cup victory over Arthurlie at Newlandsfield last season before quickly establishing himself as a first- team regular. His versatility has seen him play right across the ‘Lok midfield since joining the club from Rob Roy.
MARCO ANDREONI (Midfielder, 25) - 10 starts, 8 subs, 3 goals
Marco arrived at Pollok last season after a short spell with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, debuting as a substitute in the 5-1 victory away to Dufftown. Capable of producing some outstanding finishes, his previous clubs also include Bathgate Thistle, Forfar Athletic, Dundee United, Albion Rovers, Airdrie United and Montrose.
ALAN LINDSAY (Midfielder, 26)
Alan signed for Pollok last summer, but surgery has prevented him from making his competitive debut thus far. Now fully recovered, the former Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, Petershill, Elgin City, Stenhousemuir, Ross County and Celtic Youth player is ready to show the ‘Lok faithful what he is capable of.
And, introducing the first new face for 2014-15:
ROSS HARKNESS (Goalkeeper, 27)
Standing at a height of 6ft 4in, Ross could prove an imposing figure between the sticks for Pollok this season. Formerly with Edinburgh University, Stirling University and Forres Mechanics, he joins ‘Lok from Wishaw, who he helped to gain promotion from the Central Second Division last season.
