IN the run-up to Christmas, the Club is asking Pollok fans to bring a small bag of non-perishable food items to the Hurlford United game on 13th December.
These items will be donated to a local food bank, to help those less well off among us in our communities at this time of year.
Club President, Stuart Macdonald told pollokfc.com “We are always striving to put our club at the heart of our local community, but sometimes we must stop and take notice of the fact that our local community is also at our club’s heart.
“We are simply asking supporters to donate a few pounds worth of tinned goods or other non-perishables in a carrier bag so that we can help those less fortunate than us in our community.
“The difference it will make to local lives over the Christmas season is impossible to over-estimate.”
There will be a drop-off point for the donated goods within the ground. The Club asks all supporters to give as generously as they can in our Christmas appeal.
