Signing News

John Richardson’s summer rebuilding programme continues to move along apace, with another three names now confirmed for the 2013/14 campaign. STEVEN REILLY and JOHN KANE have both signed up for another season at the club, and they will be joined by:

STEPHEN ROBERTSON (Kirkintilloch Rob Roy)

Goalkeeper Stephen, 36, brings a wealth of experience to Newlandsfield Park. He joined St. Johnstone from Scone Thistle during season 1993/94, and he remained with the Perth side for eight seasons. His time there was punctuated by loan spells at Ashfield and Hamilton Academical, and since leaving McDiarmid Park in 2001 Stephen has turned out for Clydebank, East Stirlingshire, Auchinleck Talbot, Ards, Airdrie United, Alloa Athletic and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

Stephen will also be taking on coaching responsibilities, replacing the departing IAN WILSON. Ian played a key role at the club during his short time on the backroom staff, helping to add the Central League Cup to the numerous honours he won as a player at Pollok. We thank him for his service, and look forward to welcoming him back for the annual Legends game later this year.
