Signing News: Monti re-signs for Pollok

Pollok Football Club are delighted to announce that forward Carlo Monti has this morning signed a new contract, which commits him to the club for the forthcoming season.
Monti’s goals in the second half of last season were crucial to Pollok’s survival in the Super Premier League, scoring a staggering 15 goals in 15 appearances. Monti’s signing came after fighting off interest from a slew of other junior and senior clubs.
On staying at Pollok, Carlo said “it’s a really big club, probably the biggest at this level. I’ve really enjoyed being here, and everyone’s made me feel really welcome.”
This represents the club’s first signing announcement of the new season, and the club is rightly proud that a player of Carlo’s calibre will be wearing Pollok’s black and white next season.
